Web Designer

The position of Web Designer includes but is not limited to the following:
Responsibilities
- Design highly interactive medium- and high-fidelity Web browser-based and Flash-based prototypes to test design concepts
- Work closely with market and usability researchers to successfully meet project goals
- Provide input into client proposals, reports, and presentations
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Identify and secure new opportunities for revenue growth within existing accounts and new prospects
- Serve as team leader as appropriate
- Travel as required to complete assigned projects
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in Web Application and Web Site Design
- EXTENSIVE Experience with the customer-centered design process
- Expertise in AJAX, XHTML, CSS, Javascript
- Adobe/Macromedia Flash and Flex experience a plus
- Proven knowledge of Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator and Flash
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral)
- Ability to manage design projects
Visual Designer

Naviscent currently works on projects that require web research and/or design (development, usability, design, etc.) expertise. As a thriving, fast paced, consulting firm, we seek talented individuals who can work with clients on new user interfaces for web applications and web sites.
The position of Visual Designer includes but is not limited to the following responsibilities:
- Design very highly polished, clean and compelling visual interfaces for Web sites and Web applications
- Work closely with market and usability researchers to successfully meet project goals
- Provide input into client proposals, reports, and presentations
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously

Ethnographer
The position of Ethnographer includes but is not limited to the following:
Responsibilities
- Conduct ethnographic research to deepen customer insight and define new areas for innovation
- Recruit research participants and schedule research activities
- Conduct ethnographic research including interviews, observations and video ethnography
- Analyze data using standard qualitative methods, including drafting fieldnotes, coding data and developing thematic narratives
- Develop models and frameworks that communicate patterns, processes, regularities and meanings observed in user research
- Work with project teams to develop design concepts and user scenarios
- Report research results through project briefs, story boards and PowerPoint presentations
- Participate in the development of new research methodologies

Qualifications

Business Development Manager
You have the opportunity to develop new business for a rapid growth web research and design consulting firm. As a Business Development Manager for Naviscent, you will be marketing usability research; market research; interaction design; development services to F1000 companies. Though the possibilities are unlimited, this job isn’t for everyone. The successful candidate will be a new business developer; as well as, part strategist, evangelist, and interactive solutions consultant.
To be successful, you need to have a passion for customer centered design. Naviscent is looking for someone with sales/account experience at an agency who knows how to combine technology and creativity to deliver solutions. When you’re not meeting with new clients and presenting them with the most innovative online design and development options, you’re working to cultivate and grow existing accounts.
